ASR Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Packaging Supervisor to drive the packaging department results through strong leadership and adherence to GMPs and safety standards. You will prioritize, schedule, and delegate work to meet customer specs and delivery requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, experience coaching teams, and familiarity with SAP, Kronos or Mii, plus Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, food science, or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience directing and coaching a production team.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work to meet production specs and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and appraise production staff; address issues.
• Oversee paperwork, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate production planning with other departments.
