Job summary

Ferrara Candy Co. in California is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate daily activities on the manufacturing floor, coach workers, and ensure safe, sanitary conditions while supporting production schedules.

You will monitor quality, adjust machines, track time and production data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines. A business degree is preferred, with 3–5 years of related experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline preferred or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience directing employees and operations in the food industry or related manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates production workers with daily coaching and mentoring.
• Maintains safe and sanitary work areas; ensures full-time attendance.
• Supports cross-functional initiatives and collaborates with colleagues.
• Inspects products and sets up machines to meet specs.
• Maintains production records and coordinates with other departments.
