Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a Packaging Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) to ensure high-quality candy packaging. You will set up and adjust packaging equipment, oversee line workers, and monitor production data to keep schedules and quality on track.

Responsibilities include equipment changeovers, routine maintenance, record-keeping, and adherence to safety standards. Overtime and shift flexibility are required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• 1 year food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment, including setup and changeovers, to run efficiently and safely.
• Direct production workers and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Inspect finished products and record data to meet quality standards.
• Use Redzone software on tablets to record production data and perform quality checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment.
