Job summary

Arthrex is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee finished device production at Ave Maria, FL. You will manage resources, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with Arthrex Quality Management System while coordinating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills; you will handle scheduling, training, performance reviews, and adherence to ISO/FDA policies. First shift schedule M-TH and Tu-Fri, no Sat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or an Associate’s degree with related experience.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution required.
• 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in medical devices or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign personnel and direct workflow
• Assist employees with professional development/training
• Communicate issues to management that could result in process delays, safety issues, or other potential loss to the company or its associates
• Ensure proper communication between shifts and crews covering production status, backorders, quality, safety and other production issues
• Monitor and execute corrective actions to reduce/eliminate scrap
• Perform Safety training for direct reports
• Maintain inventory accuracy for assigned area
• Stay current with ISO/FDA and internal quality assurance policies
