LANXESS is seeking a packaging operator at our Memphis site to perform packaging tasks per customer orders and keep machinery running safely. You will handle hazardous materials per plant rules, stock packaging supplies, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime, including holidays and weekends. PPE is required.

• Must wear PPE such as steel toes, hardhat, protective eyewear.

Responsabilités

• Perform packaging operations per customer orders.

• Ensure machines operate properly; conduct minor repairs.

• Stock all packaging raw materials (pallets, tape, labels, etc.).

Experience / Skills

• Minimum of a High school diploma or GED
• Work Experience 1-3 years
• Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift schedule - 12 hour shifts.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, including holidays, weekends, and on short notice call in as required.
• Willingness and ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hardhat, protective eyewear, face shields, arc protective clothing, and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
• Willing and able to work in a high-hazard process.
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, ladders, columns, and to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, reach overhead, hear and respond to alarms, and possess visual acuity for close work.
