Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, MA is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load, move materials, and operate packaging equipment while following GMP and PPE requirements.

The role requires basic math and computer skills; HS diploma or GED preferred. Training is provided, with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.
• Complete Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Package materials and finished products.
• Load and move materials; operate packaging equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear PPE.
• Monitor conveyors and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspect bottles for quality and perform drop tests.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities or quality issues.
• Maintain labeling accuracy and packaging according to customer specs.
• Move finished goods to designated area; restock packaging supplies.
• Keep work area neat and organized; setup workstations efficiently.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
