Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, MA, is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate for 2nd shift (2:55p-11p). Responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading and moving materials, and operating packaging equipment while following GMPs.

The role requires basic math, basic computer use, and completion of the company training within 90 days of hire. The position supports a fast-paced production environment with overtime as needed and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper packaging of materials and finished products.
• Monitor conveyor belts, clear bottle jams and move finished goods to designated areas.
• Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling; perform bottle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to PPE and safety policies.
• Escalate bottle abnormalities or quality issues promptly to management.
• Assist with inventory and replenishment of packaging materials as needed.
