Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a Packaging Shop Manager to lead the Engine Packaging Shop operations, focusing on safety, scheduling, quoting, fabrication, assembly, testing and the shop's financial performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership to optimize workflows, manage work orders, collaborate with Project Managers, PSSR’s and Engine Sales Reps, and ensure timely delivery while controlling costs. You will champion safety and drive performance across the team.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on knowledge of the shop operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret correspondences with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engine Packaging Shop operations with a strong safety focus.
• Schedule and facilitate regular tool-box safety discussions and safety walk-throughs.
• Maintain all safety documentation including permits and JSAs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, PSSR’s, and Engine Sales Reps to provide customer solutions.
• Create quotes for projects in the packaging (Rig-Up) shop.
• Manage work orders from creation to timely closure.
• Oversee financial performance including overtime, non-charge time, and expenses.
• Foster a collaborative environment across divisions and service departments.
