Job summary

Timken is hiring a Packaging & Shipping Supervisor at the Fulton Plant to oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations. You will supervise a multi-zone team, drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency, and partner with Traffic to meet sales targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Logistics or 7+ years of supervisory shipping experience, plus ERP/SAP and MS Office proficiency. Compensation ranges and benefits are described in the posting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or related field with 2+ years in manufacturing shipping/packaging/distribution.
Or a high school diploma with 7+ years of supervisor or team lead experience in shipping/packaging/logistics/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Direct daily coordination of personnel and processes for receiving, warehousing, and shipping at the Fulton Plant.
Supervise associates across multi-zoned, multi-shift environments to meet customer demand.
Improve productivity, safety, quality, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
Plan new equipment, floor layout, and cost reduction initiatives.
Execute KPI-driven logistics activities (safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity, morale).
Maintain warehousing procedures and ensure accuracy of inventory across locations.
Coordinate with Traffic and EHS to ensure on-time shipping and environmental compliance.
