Job summary

Timken in Ohio is seeking a Receiving and Shipping Supervisor to support daily warehouse operations, manage receipt of materials, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments of lubrication pump systems.

You will work with SAP, coordinate freight, ensure OSHA safety, and lead a small team to meet on-time delivery. High school diploma and 2–4 years in warehousing required; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Familiar with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, staging, loading and unloading trucks.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and PO compliance; report discrepancies.
• Receiving, labeling, and storing materials and finished goods while updating inventory records.
• Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and necessary paperwork.
• Ensure OSHA safety regulations are followed during all warehouse activities.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
