Job summary

Amcor Richmond is seeking a Shift Lead responsible for supervising off-shift operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and driving production efficiency. You will coach teams, maintain quality, and coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and output.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with substantial printing industry experience and proven leadership capabilities. Flexibility to work extended hours and shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with extensive experience in the printing industry.
• Proven leadership experience (minimum 5 years).
• Safety and mathematical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations during off-shifts and ensure safety, health, and environmental practices.
• Lead teams to improve performance and quality, and support departments as needed.
• Review finished jobs for quality and accuracy and ensure non-conforming material is isolated.
• Instruct and coordinate preventative maintenance to maximize machine efficiency and labor use.
• Lead meetings, coach employees, and provide regular feedback to maintain production schedules and quality goals.
• Complete documentation and timekeeping accurately and in a timely manner.
