Millennium Print Group is seeking a Packaging Shift Lead to supervise day‑to‑day packaging operations on the production floor, ensuring quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of supervisory experience in manufacturing, packaging, or printing, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or production environments.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience required.
• Packaging, paper production, or print manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and production specifications before beginning production.
• Verify materials and components match customer and production requirements.
• Conduct first-off inspections and quality checks throughout production.
• Assign team members and temporary associates to workstations based on skill and production needs.
• Train, mentor, and support employees on packaging line processes and best practices.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and line performance.
• Identify and address production bottlenecks and workflow challenges.
• Coordinate material replenishment to prevent interruptions in production.
• Ensure products are packaged accurately and according to specifications.
• Promote compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.
