Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a seasoned shift supervisor to lead daily production, plan staffing, and drive quality while meeting safety and GMP standards. You will guide a team, assign tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of supervisory experience in printing or manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with supervisory exposure in a manufacturing/production setting.
• Demonstrated ability to stand-in for manager and drive performance.
• Must understand safety, GMPs and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations and assign workloads.
• Plan staffing to meet workload and productivity targets.
• Monitor performance of direct reports and conduct timely reviews.
• Provide coaching and training on safety, GMPs, and quality processes.
• Make sound operational decisions and resolve issues promptly.
