Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Food Care Rollstock portfolio within the assigned territory. You will build and manage a robust pipeline, qualify opportunities, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in packaging or technical sales, strong ability to translate technical solutions into business value, and is willing to travel about 50% overnight to meet customers and advance

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial growth.
Strong technical knowledge of packaging, rollstock, flexible packaging, or related manufacturing.
Experience with rollstock materials and/or HFFS and VFFS equipment preferred.
Ability to combine technical knowledge with a customer-facing and commercial mindset.
Independently build a sales pipeline and open new customer relationships.
Strong value-selling and negotiation skills to address pricing objections.
Willingness to travel ~50% overnight.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline focused on net-new business opportunities.
Identify, qualify, and develop high-value opportunities in the territory.
Proactively prospect for new customers rather than relying on inbound requests.
Own opportunities from prospecting through negotiation and close.
Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Service, and cross-functional teams to drive growth.
Travel ~50% overnight to meet customers and support trials.
