Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client, a leading consumer packaged goods company, seeks a Packaging R&D Specialist to drive end-to-end packaging development in South Burlington, VT. The role is hybrid (3 days on site) and joins a collaborative team focused on innovative packaging.

The candidate will lead trials, maintain packaging specifications, and support supply chain and manufacturing initiatives, with emphasis on testing and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, or a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of packaging experience in a CPG/FMCG environment.
• Experience supporting packaging specifications, testing, and supply chain activities.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials (flexible packaging, paper cups/lids, and corrugated).
• Proficiency with CAPE/TOPS and packaging specification management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of packaging development and transformation activities.
• Coordinate packaging trials, testing, and validation with cross-functional teams, facilities, and suppliers.
• Develop, update, and maintain packaging specifications and technical docs.
• Support packaging-related supply chain and manufacturing initiatives.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and provide recommendations.
