Boston Beer Co. in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Full Time Quality Control Technician to ensure product quality across production and packaging on a 12hr day shift.

You'll analyze samples, run tests on finished products, document results, and coordinate with production and maintenance to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. The role requires GMP knowledge, physical stamina, and comfort in a fast-paced brewery environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of general work experience in a production facility or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, basic lab and production safety procedures, and statistical process control.
• The ability to use computers and automated equipment to enter, review, and interpret data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and communicate effectively across departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand up to 11 hours per day.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, bend, twist, climb stairs, wear PPE.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination and respirator fit test if required.

Mansioni

• Collect and analyze product samples at multiple stages of production.
• Perform packaging quality checks and measurements.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment and document results.
• Use SPC data and SOPs to decide if production can continue or needs adjustment.
• Investigate defects, leaks, and out-of-spec materials and report findings.
• Manage product holds/releases with proper documentation and analysis.
• Conduct GMP and HACCP audits and enforce food-safety standards.
• Maintain the product-retain library per procedures and TB requirements.
• Participate in sensory evaluations and continuous-improvement projects.
• Work shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays in a loud, hot environment.
