Job summary

Sonoco Lewiston, ID is seeking a Production Worker to support the tube and core division in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate equipment, monitor quality, and collaborate with maintenance and other shifts.

Planned duties include maintaining safety and attendance, reading instructions, and supporting multiple tasks. Prior manufacturing/warehouse experience and forklift certification are beneficial, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Get it done attitude with urgency to resolve tasks.
• Reading and understanding manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Troubleshoot problems on the line and adapt to situations.
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor product quality.
• Learn to set up new jobs and train on other lines and departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Support Sonoco quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
