Job summary

Smurfit WestRock plc in Lexington, KY is hiring for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7 am–3 pm) with flexibility for 2nd shift. Overtime may involve 10-hour days.

Pay starts at $17.44–$20.71 per hour, with positions supporting machine setup, feeding, quality checks and shipping preparation. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to stand and move for long periods, basic reading/writing, tape measure use and math skills, plus manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel during shift.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate, assist or drive forklift to safely produce quality products.
• Set up machines and feed them, perform quality checks, and stack product for shipping.
• Support production at the Lexington, KY facility with efficient workflows.
