Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is hiring for production positions at the Lexington, KY facility. Jobs involve operating, assisting, or driving a forklift to safely produce quality products and meet customer needs. You’ll help set up machines, feed and monitor operations, perform quality checks, and stack goods for shipping.

The team values safety, accuracy, and teamwork. 1st shift is Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm, with flexibility for 2nd shift and possible overtime 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the shift.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate, assist or drive a forklift to safely produce a quality product.
• Support Lexington facility by setting up machines, feeding machines, performing quality checks, and stacking product to be shipped.

Hiring for 1st Shift, M-F, 7 am - 3 pm. Must be flexible to work either 1st or 2nd Shift.

Overtime: could work 10 hour days, instead of 8 hours.

Pay starts at $17.44 - $20.71 / hour.

What You Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math calculations
• Forklift experience a plus
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
