Job summary

MMC Lititz, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead frontline teams and drive safety, quality, delivery and productivity in a regulated manufacturing setting. Opportunities may exist on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with assignment based on business needs and candidate availability.

The role requires managing shifts, coordinating manpower, and maintaining high standards of performance on packaging lines, while collaborating with unionized staff and cross-functional leaders to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years in Operations / Manufacturing / Packaging.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication in English.
• Basic to intermediate mathematics ability.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, listening, negotiating and problem solving / decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team to meet goals on high speed packaging lines and manufacturing platforms.
• Establish personnel schedules based on business needs and assess risks.
• Compile and report production metrics.
• Train staff in safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Lead change initiatives to meet business and costumer needs.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
