Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Procurement Manager for Packaging Procurement to lead strategy, supplier relations, and category management across direct procurement categories. You will drive savings, innovation, and ESG benefits while developing the procurement team and partnering with cross-functional groups.

The role requires proven expertise in procurement, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, category management, or strategic buying and managing financial business impacts.
• Demonstrated success creating category strategies that drive cost savings, innovation, supplier value, and ESG benefits.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Prism, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute packaging procurement category strategies in partnership with business stakeholders and Nestrade.
• Manage supplier relationships, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing activities across packaging categories.
• Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities through procurement strategy, category management, and supplier negotiations.
• Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance metrics, market trends, and category data to develop recommendations and support business decisions.
• Partner with Quality, Finance, Operations, Legal, Technical Applications Group, and Procurement Business Partners to align procurement activities and category strategies with business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Procurement Specialists while supporting performance, capability building, and employee development.
