Job summary

Mars Royal Canin facility in Fremont, Nebraska, seeks a Process & Product Implementation Engineer - Packaging to lead industrial packaging trials, qualify new materials, and ensure seamless handovers to production. The role focuses on safety, quality, and line efficiency while advancing sustainability initiatives.

You will partner with operations, engineering, quality, and R&D teams to plan trials, evaluate film machinability, support SRC definitions, and deliver technical reports and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in packaging/engineering or related field with 1–3 years manufacturing/engineering experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years experience.
• Preferred experience in food/bev manufacturing or high-speed packaging operations.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or related CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level packaging trials from protocol prep to technical reporting.
• Act as on-site technical authority during line validations and evaluate performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks prior to full rollout; support GO/NO-GO gates.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, QA, and R&D teams.
