Job summary

Winpak Lane Inc. in Rialto, California, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team.

You will drive continuous improvement across packaging machinery production, focusing on quality, waste reduction, and productivity while upholding safety and cost-effectiveness. You'll analyze processes, develop standard work, support design reviews, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance to implement repeatable, data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Three or more years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• On-call support during start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate machining, fabrication, assembly and testing processes for improvements.
• Use data to analyze performance, reduce variability and improve consistency.
• Develop methods, routings, sequences, tooling, inspection points and cycle times.
• Create and maintain standard work and manufacturing records.
• Support design reviews; evaluate manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• Lead or participate in process validations and trials.
• Drive root-cause investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and Pareto tools.
• Maintain process data in systems and support ISO 9001 and safety requirements.
• Collaborate on new processes, equipment modifications and commissioning.
• Develop labor standards and cost analyses for capital justification.
