Ultradent Products, Inc. seeks an experienced Buyer to manage daily purchasing for production materials, including printed materials and packaging. You will use ERP systems to optimize orders, negotiate terms, and coordinate with Planning and Category Managers to ensure materials arrive on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on use of MRP/ERP systems to manage POs, delivery schedules, and inventory.
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost savings and reliable supply.
• Proficiency with Excel for analyzing purchasing and inventory data.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily purchasing for production materials, place POs and confirm supplier commitments.
• Use Oracle recommendations and reports to adjust orders based on production needs.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and MOQs to optimize cost and supply.
• Coordinate with Planning and Category Managers to support procurement needs.
• Verify POs reference correct specs and revisions for printed materials and packaging.
• Address shortages, late deliveries, supplier performance, and nonconforming materials.
• Maintain purchasing data including lead times, quantities, supplier info, pricing, and delivery dates.
