Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership in manufacturing or packaging operations.
• Experience leading CAPAs, deviations, change controls, investigations, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with automation projects or manufacturing technology deployment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging performance metrics: throughput, downtime, OEE, labor efficiency, quality.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve packaging efficiency, reliability, quality, and cost.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and root-cause problem solving.
• Oversee CAPAs, deviations, and change controls for timely, effective improvements.
• Partner with Engineering/Maintenance to implement automation and reliability initiatives.
• Use data trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and defect reduction.
• Support investigations into equipment performance and process deviations.
• Develop packaging performance dashboards and KPIs for reporting.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and Operations on strategic improvements.
• Prioritize capital projects and equipment enhancements aligned with business goals.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits of packaging operations.
• Provide coaching and leadership to promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Champion Takeda Values, Quality and Safety Cultures, and patient-focused decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
