Job summary

**Your role at Clorox:**The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Packaging Operator position at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. Packaging Associates are responsible for filling containers with liquid bleach products. These responsibilities require knowledge of the operation of the filling equipment, a system of equipment located along a conveyor. Filling and packaging equipment may include an orientor, labeler, filler, capper, check weigh, coder, case packer and case sealer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in excellent working condition, and that products are being manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Candidates must be able to work three (3) shifts times and overtime as business needs dictate, for example:1st shift: (7am – 3:30pm,) 2nd shift: (3pm – 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm – 7:30am). Starting Hourly rate: $24.92- $28.30. Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Candidate must satisfactorily complete the employment application with attached resume, as well as complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.**In this role, you will:**Responsibilities are dependent upon skill level and may include but not limited to the following for each role. Some responsibilities may be rotated, and some tasks require certification to perform.* Manufacturing work environment. Primary hazards include working around electrical equipment, rotating equipment, slipping, falling, lifting, and moving heavy equipment. Because the associate works most of the time with moving equipment, concentration on the task at hand as well as an awareness of the overall operation is important.* In degree of strenuousness, these positions may be considered as medium work. Medium work is defined as exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Objects weighing 50 or more pounds should be lifted/moved with assistance.
