Job summary

The Clorox Company in Aberdeen, MD seeks a Packaging Operator to run and monitor automated filling lines for liquid bleach products. You will ensure equipment is set up correctly, perform changeovers, and work to maintain quality and efficiency on a fast-paced line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent operator experience), basic computer skills, and the ability to stand 8 hours and work shifts across 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 2 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good, effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including MS Office, Email.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line equipment, ensuring it is set up and maintained properly.
• Perform changeovers on all equipment, following procedures.
• Fix and repair any equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Identify and address quality problems to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and parts and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations with engineering.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA/Clorox standards.
• Document maintenance and repairs per procedures.
• Attend required training sessions to stay updated on equipment.
