Job summary

Clorox Company is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate and changeover limited packaging equipment, inspect finished goods, and back up line operators as needed. You will work under the Lead Operator and Packaging Manager, with a Monday–Friday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, starting hourly rate $29.00 plus $0.95 shift differential.

Responsibilities include machine operation, changeovers, preventive maintenance, quality checks, and material handling.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years production experience preferred.
• 1-year fork truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Your role at Clorox:

The Packaging department's purpose is to produce high quality finished cases of product in a safe and efficient manner that meets customer requirements and minimizes costs. The purpose of this position is to operate and changeover limited equipment and inspect finished goods and packaging materials for defects. This position must be able to act as a backup for line operators in their absence. Day to day general direction is provided by the Lead Operator and the Packaging Manager.
Starting Hourly Rate: $29.00 per hour + $0.95 Shift Differential
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

In this role, you will:

• Machine operation for equipment identified in checklists.
• Machine changeovers for equipment and verification checklists.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on assigned packaging line equipment.
• Perform all required quality control checks, record data as required and follow up appropriately.
• Material handling of all supplies and packaging materials needed for assigned packaging line.
• MES and EWM system execution and monitoring
• Complete all department multiskilled training checklist requirements up to and including Block 6

• All required safety and regulatory training
• Ability to climb ladders, drive rail king, and work in semi-confined or confined areas required.
