Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator for our Indiana facility. The role involves operating packaging equipment, preparing shipments, and forklift material handling on a 6p–6a shift that includes a $1.00/hour night differential.

You will record production data, verify lot numbers, and ensure accurate packaging while maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience (certification obtainable), and good English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Commitment to workplace safety and hazard awareness.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs, lot codes, work instructions, SDS, and production docs.
• English reading/writing communication ability.
• Basic computer skills and online training participation.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify bagging instructions, quantities, and lot numbers.
• Load bags onto pallets and move using forklifts.
• Label and track inventory with barcodes and weights.
• Carry out quality checks on bag weights and packaging.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper housekeeping.
• Document production and load-out activities accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with team to keep operations running smoothly.
