Meyer Distributing in Jasper, IN is seeking a Box Machine Operator to join our warehouse team. The role involves sorting, preparing, and packaging products with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour. Education of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and prior warehouse or packaging experience is encouraged. WMS experience and handheld scanners are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior warehouse or packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of WMS software.
• Read, identify, and sort products based on pick ticket details.
• Scan product using handheld scanners.
• Apply appropriate packaging materials and labels.
• Use banding equipment on products.
• Stage products for shipping for UPS/FedEx/LTL/truck shipments.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized.
• Wear safety-toed footwear and work safely at all times.
