Job summary

ALPLA Group in Salt Lake City seeks an experienced Machine Operator to start and maintain production lines, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety standards. You will handle line changeovers, perform quality checks, and keep precise records while collaborating with a team to meet production goals.

Prior ALPLA experience is a plus; strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1.5 years of experience as ALPLA Machine Operator I or 3 years equivalent.
• Forklift or Walk Behind Forklift experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds and standing for at least 12 hours.
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Start / Stop ronchi, hartness and labeler.
• Make minor process adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform regular quality control throughout the shift and visual quality checks.
• Prepare machine for changeovers.
• Change speed and cycle times.
• Troubleshooting.
• Ensure goods are produced per specifications and in correct quantity.
• Record goods purchased and problems encountered during shift.
• Ensure all products moved to warehouse are properly labeled.
• Ensure counts are correct on pallets moved to the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of finished products.
• Remove rejected product to quarantine area.
• Stock lines with correct material and maintain housekeeping.
• Work in a team environment and maintain cleanliness around the machine.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks.

What Will You Enjoy Doing

Main Responsibilities
