Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Guayama, PR is seeking a Fill & Pack Operator I to help produce and package pharmaceutical products. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient processes.

The role requires reading SOPs, documenting batch records, supporting investigations, and ensuring yields meet targets. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in regulated manufacturing, with English and Spanish

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment following SOPs, cGMP, and GDP.
• Perform filling, labeling, packaging, equipment setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Operate multiple workstations and support required clerical activities.
• Identify and elevate abnormalities or issues in a timely manner.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify quality per specifications.
• Complete batch records, packaging modules, protocols, and related records accurately.
• Support compliance with cGMP, FDA, EHS, and company requirements.
• Assist investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Verify materials are available and properly staged to support production.
• Support lead operators with document reviews and readiness activities.
• Help ensure yields and performance targets are met.
• Assist with equipment qualifications, validations, and process improvements.
• Support onboarding and training of new operators via OJT.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality and productivity.
• Monitor area metrics to reduce scrap and variability.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Comply with environmental policies and hazardous material regulations.
