Job summary

Katalyst CRO in Tampa, FL is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate and support packaging lines for filling, labeling, packing, and wrapping products in a cGMP environment.

You will follow Batch Records and SOPs, maintain accurate documentation, perform equipment setup, cleaning, and material movement tasks, and support QA/Team Lead to ensure safe, compliant operations. You will also participate in safety programs and uphold clean, well-organized work areas to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of packaging or manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of cGMP/SOPs (preferred).
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with setup of manual and automated packaging equipment.
• Follow Batch Record instructions for primary and secondary packaging.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms and equipment.
• Support material movement and reconciliation (chain of custody).
• Report deviations or issues to QA/Team Lead/Manager.
• Maintain GMP documentation and complete required SOP training.
• Participate in safety processes and follow all safety guidelines.
