Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Less than one year of experience in pharmaceutical packaging/manufacturing.
• OSHA-compliant respirator fit test required; knowledge of cGMP and SOP.

Responsibilities

• Carries out packaging operations in strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, environmental and safety regulations; uses PPE and follows gowning/safety protocols.
• Handles disposal of rejected products and packaging components per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Inspects and verifies bulk product and packaging components before entry into the packaging room; keeps area clean and organized.
• Maintains accurate logbook entries by recording information before and after each batch operation.
• Performs in-process quality control checks during packaging operations and documents results in the Packaging Batch Record.
• Verifies the accuracy of scales and balances by weight checks; ensures calibration status before packaging operations.
