Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Packaging Operator I to join the packaging department. This entry-level role focuses on safe, efficient operation of packaging equipment and strict adherence to the Packaging Batch Record, SOPs, and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Less than one year in Pharmaceutical Packaging/Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP.

Responsibilities

• Carries out packaging operations in strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, environmental and safety regulations; uses PPE and follows gowning protocols.
• Handles disposal of rejected products and packaging components per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Inspects and verifies bulk product and components before packaging; keeps packaging area clean and organized.
• Maintains accurate logbook entries before and after each batch operation.
• Performs in-process quality control checks and documents results in the Packaging Batch Record.
• Verifies scales and balances and ensures calibration status before packaging operations.
• Performs other functions as required and adheres to company policies; may work extended hours and weekends.
