Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Packaging Operator 1 for 1st shift in Fort Worth, TX. The role operates packaging lines, handles product according to specs, and ensures quality checks are recorded. Training and career advancement opportunities are available.

Pay is $18.95 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, PTO, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and training programs.

• Ability to work standing for long periods.
• Computer experience.
• Experience working in a WMS system with RF guns.

Responsibilities

• Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter into the system.
• Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Assist in training new associates and cross-training backup associates.
• Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and or weight against specs.
• Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
• Must be able to perform all duties of packaging operator II.
• Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.

Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM

Days: M-F

Pay: $18.95

Required Qualifications: Strong attention to detail, strong safety adherence, ability to work standing for long periods of time, computer experience, and experience working in a WMS system with RF guns.
