Job summary

On-Board Services is hiring a Packaging Operator for our Assonet, MA facility. This full-time/contract role operates packaging lines for small containers and supports dryer and blending equipment, with material movement via pallet jacks and forklifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical and computer aptitude, and at least 1 year of forklift experience. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and computer aptitude required.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform package operations of small containers to tote quantities of finished products.
• Operate dryers and blending equipment.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and forklift.
• Complete batch and packaging documents for finished goods.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, SOPs and best practices.
• Identify EH&S improvement opportunities and help implement safer practices.
