Sun Polymers in Indiana is seeking a Packaging Operator to support packaging of acrylic/polyester resins. You will work on robotic and manual packaging lines, with training on 1st and 2nd shifts (5a-1:30p and 3p-11:30p).
The role requires a High School diploma or GED, English literacy, forklift experience, and the ability to operate packaging machinery. You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and efficient production, with opportunities for cross-training.
Our manufacturing company seeks Packaging Operators for packaging of a variety of manufactured acrylic/polyester resins. The Packaging Operator position is a support role for several areas of manufacturing, including but not limited to quality and production. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of stability and commitment in previous positions. This job description details some, but not all, duties that are required in this position. We are seeking operators for both 1st (5a-1:30p) and 2nd (3p-11:30p) shifts. Training for all shifts takes place Mon-Fri, 8:30a-5p for approximately 30 days.
Packaging Operators are responsible for robotic and manual packing operations of finished resin products. Packaging Operators are required to adhere to plant safety guidelines and standards. We are looking for Packaging Operators who can perform under direct supervision to take our products to the next level in terms of our QEHS policy.
