Job summary

On-Board Services is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a 1-year contract located in Newark, DE. The role supports packaging operations with emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires setup, operation, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment, adherence to SOPs and cGMP, and accurate documentation. A strong team player with attention to detail will thrive in this hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or coursework in Manufacturing or Process Technology preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial or chemical plant environment preferred.
• Experience with LOTO, PPE, permitting, and confined-space procedures preferred.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift or other powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.
• Strong math skills and basic computer aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment per SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging lines and equipment.
• Maintain supplies for the packaging area.
• Accurately complete production records and documentation.
• Move finished products using powered industrial trucks.
• Reprocess materials as directed by supervision and procedures.
• Support packaging operations to maintain production flow.
• Change product sifter screens and baghouse bags as needed.
• Maintain and empty dust collection and vacuum equipment.
• Assist in other plant operations as required, including equipment changes and cleaning.
• Perform barcoding activities per SOPs.
