Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an entry-level production packaging operator to safely operate and maintain packaging lines. You will set up and run case forming, labeling, palletizing, and coding equipment while following SOPs and GMPs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in food manufacturing, and lift truck certification or ability to obtain one. Strong math and communication skills, plus reliable attendance, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years in food manufacturing, dairy experience preferred.
• Lift truck certification or ability to obtain.
• Good math skills and ability to operate equipment controls.
• Familiarity with food safety standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment including case forming, packaging and palletizing.
• Set up, operate and replenish fiber gluer and/or taping equipment.
• Follow SOPs in detail without deviation.
• Generate pallet identification labels verifying quantity, product, and dates.
• Set up case coding equipment and validate product case codes.
• Record accurate production data and quantities.
• Perform equipment change-overs and cleanup.
• Operate a lift truck safely.
• Support internal and external audits and adhere to safety and GMPs.
• Cross-train with other departments and maintain housekeeping.
