Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is hiring a Packer to assemble cartons, label boxes, and stack products onto pallets while ensuring quality and safety. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to meeting production goals.

Responsibilities include inspecting product quality, assisting with daily sanitation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and other programs.

Qualifications

• Must stand for the majority of shift and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong math skills and ability to read/write basic information.
• Team oriented with good communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cartons and apply/pack cases according to specifications.
• Label boxes with correct labels and dates.
• Stack product onto pallets in proper configurations.
• Inspect product quality and packaging, reporting issues to supervisor.
• Perform in-process quality checks and data entry for production.
• Assist with daily sanitation and maintain clean work areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and improve processes.
