Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Mississippi is seeking an entry-level packaging associate to inspect pre-cooked or post-cooked products, monitor the pack-off area, and stack finished product cases onto pallets.

You will lift up to 50 pounds and contribute to a safe, efficient line environment. Responsibilities include ensuring correct labeling, participating in line sanitations, and adhering to GMP, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, and SQF requirements in a cold, industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Diploma/GED.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack product meeting line standards.
• Lift and move cases up to 50 pounds.
• Check packaging material for damage and notify Lead of non-compliant products.
• Perform line sanitation and housekeeping and monitor packing equipment.
• Ensure correct pallet label information and stack cases on pallets; seal bags and boxes.
• Adjust tape machine configurations for different case sizes.
• Maintain speed and adapt to line speeds and case standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Communicate GMP/GSP and safety practices to the team.
