Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Packer on the 1st shift at the Oakland, MS plant. You will inspect pre-/post-cooked products, monitor packaging lines, and stack cases onto pallets while following GMP and safety rules.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a cold environment (~50 degrees), and communicate effectively with the team. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality and GMP compliance.
• Lift and move cases up to 50 pounds; operate packaging equipment.
• Assemble and pack product meeting line standards and seal bags/boxes.
• Maintain sanitation and monitor line equipment; report issues to Lead.
• Ensure correct pallet labels, stack cases on pallets, and seal items properly.
• Adjust tape machine configurations for different case sizes and weights.
• Support varying line speeds and case standards as needed.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by supervision.
