Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. – Oakland Plant in Mississippi seeks a Regular Full-Time Production Associate. Under supervision, you will inspect, pack, palletize, load and unload production materials on a fast-paced line.

You will monitor product quality, operate conveyor equipment, verify codes and labels, and keep the work area clean in accordance with safety and GMP standards. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred; reliability and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, packs, palletizes, loads and unloads production materials.
• Tends production line; watches for equipment malfunctions or product defects.
• Unpacks and moves raw materials and finished product; verifies codes and labels.
• Inspects product on moving conveyor belt for consistency.
• Rotates into any line position as needed and notifies supervisor of issues.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with policy.
