Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Michigan is seeking an entry-level inspector/pack associate responsible for inspecting pre-cooked and post-cooked foods, monitoring the pack-off area, and stacking finished cases onto pallets.

You will follow GMP, SSOP, and SOP requirements, lift up to 50 pounds, and participate in line housekeeping and labeling accuracy within a cool plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble and/or pack product meeting line standards
• Lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds
• Check packaging material for damage and notify Lead of non-compliant products
• Perform line sanitations/housekeeping and monitor packing equipment
• Ensure correct pallet labels, stack cases on pallets, and seal bags/boxes
