Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA) is seeking an entry-level production worker to inspect pre-cooked or post-cooked products entering or exiting the cooker, monitor the pack-off area, and stack finished product cases onto pallets.

Role requires reliability, ability to work in a fast-paced food plant, and adherence to GMP, HACCP and safety standards while using PPE provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Diploma/GED
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and self-driven
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assemble product to line standards
• Lift and move cases up to 50 pounds
• Check packaging for damage and notify Lead of non-compliant products
• Perform line sanitation and monitor packing equipment
• Apply correct pallet labels and stack cases on pallets
• Understand case pack sizes and adjust tape machine settings
• Maintain speed and flexibility with line speeds
• Follow GMP and SSOP practices and report issues
