Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, MA is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate to ensure proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load and move materials, operate packaging equipment, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include monitoring conveyors, inspecting bottles, labeling, and maintaining a clean work area. Overtime may be required by business needs; training within 90 days of hire is provided.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I, training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Load, move material and operate packaging equipment.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Keep the work area neat, clean and organized.
• Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
