Job summary

Lesaffre is seeking a Packaging Operator to ensure dried product from spray dryers meets specifications while maintaining Safety, Quality and Food Safety standards. You will manage and monitor up to two packaging lines, working on a 6 PM to 6 AM rotational schedule, with opportunities to train across departments and support continuous production.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong mechanical aptitude, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving are required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills are essential.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Basic math and numerical reasoning are needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and food safety rules and policies.
• Sanitation of equipment and facilities.
• Monitor quality and record data.
• Operate packing line safely and efficiently.
• Inspect dryer and notify maintenance of issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and respond to equipment faults.
• Work cross-functionally and cover shifts as needed.
• Train in other departments and support operations.
