Job summary

Lesaffre seeks a Packaging Operator for the Biospringer team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will ensure dried product meets specifications, follow Safety, Quality, and Food Safety procedures, and manage up to two packaging lines with supervision from a Manager.

The role requires flexibility to train in other departments, a 6 PM–6 AM rotating shift, and forklift certification. This is an equal opportunity employer with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 3 years minimum in a similar role.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn, and ask questions.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage time and plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safety, GMP, food safety, and other policies.
• Operate packing line safely and efficiently.
• Inspect dryer infrastructure and notify management when maintenance is required.
• Train and work in other departments as needed.
