Packaging Operator - 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Apply for the role of Packaging Operator - 3rd Shift at our Downers Grove, IL location. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly rate of $23, with potential to earn up to $26. The shift generally begins at 10:45 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Good attendance and punctuality are required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Bagger Operator/Caser: Set up and operate Bagger and Kwik-lok machines, monitor line speed, check product quality, and perform general cleaning. Assist other positions as needed.
2. Slicer Feeder: Feed bread into slicers at approximately 55 loaves per minute, monitor quality, and conduct safety checks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Food safety awareness, including HACCP, GMP, SOP, and JSA standards.
• Adherence to formula specifications and maintaining a clean work environment following 5S standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. At least two years of related experience or equivalent training.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work near moving machinery.
• Work near mechanical parts, exposure to fumes, temperature extremes, noise, and wet environments.
• Compliance with safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment.

Additional Information

Overtime may be required. A 90-day performance evaluation will be conducted, and employment duration is expected to be at least one year. Compensation includes base pay and benefits such as health, dental, 401k, and wellness programs. Campbell's is an equal opportunity employer.
